The Cottage Killer
David Snow was considered to be one of the most notorious criminals in the history of Canada.
Ontario, Canada 1992. A young man walked up to the residence of Ian and Nancy Blackburn. His name was Jamie Osborne, a relative of the Blackburn. Before coming there, Jamie had received a call from his father, who showed concern about the Blackburn lack of contact and wanted Jamie to pay the couple a visit in their main home in Toronto.
Four days worth of newspapers were seen on their doorstep as Jamie reached to ring the doorbell. No one answered.
Jamie noticed Nancy’s car was parked on the driveway of their home and decided to inspect it. He peeped through the windows of the car and his eyes met a small tissue with some bloodstains on it.
For some reasons Jamie walked to the booth of the car to see if they were any packed suitcases. But when the booth opened up, what Jamie saw made him sick. The lifeless bodies of Ian and Nancy Blackburn were tucked in the booth of the car.
David Alexander Snow was infamously known as the “House Hermit”. But because of the nature of his crimes he was later called the “Cottage Killer”. He was responsible for the murder of Ian and Nancy Blackburn before going out to kidnap and sexually assault multiple women until he was…
